![]() I've since began using VoiceAttack speech recognition software and I now have most key binds aliased to a spoken voice command. I also programmed "Pause" and the map view toggle to my mouse. It has some additional two-way switches over the Sidewinder so I mapped those to open/close the canopy, lock/unlock tail wheel, and toggle the navigation lights and landing lights. I also used a Saitek Pacific AV8R for PC stick for a while. I looked from Microsoft site but couldn't find. So, where I could get that software and get playing. My HAT is set up for POV but I fly VR now which makes looking around as simple as moving your head. Help ME I'm so sad:( I bought Microsoft Sidewinder force Feedback 2 from one friend but CD:s(Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 Pro and the software) are with my friends friend. The HAT pov switch will also have to be mapped, under Camera as I recall. #7 and #8 are lower and raise flaps #5 and #6 are to lower and raise landing gear. I have my #3 button mapped to fire rockets, #4 to drop bombs, #2 mapped for brakes. Throttle is under the Engine Control tab. Look under the Plane Controls tab and click further to the right of the default key binds to profile your joystick. If it is the same you'll have to map the throttle and the x,y,z axis in Settings -> Key Mapping. Does anyone have the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick working with XP The driver version i have is 4.0 The operating system is on trial and so far this driver thing is a real pain in the. I have an old Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 stick. ![]()
